RSA TechFest 2010 has been a great conference, with SE, engineering, PS and support personnel present. I was able to speak with most of enVision 'gurus', and I get answers to all of my questions. The conference was really technical oriented with completely open discussions regarding interface, features, roadmap and so on.
It was well organized and most of the sessions were great. The amount of people was proper (round 250 in week 2), making the networking opportunities much easier than in bigger events.
I mostly centered in enVision sessions, but in general terms there are some things I'd like to highlight from the conference:
- enVision continue being one of the key RSA products, and there is a big commitment with the improvement and evolution of solution.
- there is a clear trend towards virtualization in RSA, this affect directly to enVision.
- the integration of a GRC tool as Archer with enVision brings a new level of possibilities. Even more if we also add the RSA DLP solution into the equation.
I totally recommend it, if you have the opportunity to go, don't miss it next year.
Btw Boston is a nice place, specially Chinatown :)
